If anything I’d call the tenders a draw, people are generally overhyping Varly. He’s poor at best.

I will say your Reimer take is optimistic at best, I’m not expecting much. Ned should beat him out. A Mrazek/Ned combo is an improvement

My hope is that Ned is #2 on the depth chart. I am fearful that if he has to spend another year in Charlotte that he will be gone as soon as he hits free agency. I hate to invest years in player development and then have them walk away.

Totally different staff John but last year losing to the Canes reminded me of the Isles losing to Tampa in the 2nd round. Isles need to solve the issues at forward before they can go on a long run.

I think the isles will make a trade in season. For now, the price tags are probably too high. A month or two into the season when a team is sh!tting the bed and looking to unload, thats when I think Lou will get something done. Totally my opinion and I could be wrong, but to me this makes the most sense.
